Three teams made up of urban and landscape design qualified for the final phase

At the beginning of the Competitive Dialog in September 2019 a total of 12 firms – six urban design and six landscape design specialists respectively – entered the race. They had qualified to take part in the urban and landscape design competition for the Grasbrook district in a pre-qualification competition.

In the first meeting of the jury on December 3, 2019, six of these 12 participating firms were selected for the detail phase. These six “finalists” then formed three teams each comprising an urban design and a landscape design specialist. Each team then worked to combine their ideas into a more detailed overall urban and landscape design draft.

These three planning teams, each comprising one urban design and one landscape design firm, qualified for the detail phase:

Mandaworks AB (Stockholm) and Karres en Brands RB (Hilversum)
